Pamela Yvette Siler Wilson, age 60 of Houston, Texas, beloved wife of 30 years to Russell Wilson, passed away May 9, 2021 on Mother's Day, 2 days after her youngest son's 25th Birthday at Kindred Hospital NW. She was born in Newark, NJ to the union of the late Robert Lee Siler and Ada Christine Polite, and she was proudly raised by the late Nelson Polite Sr, and Pamela was the first born of seven children.
Pamela was an amazing awesome loving wife and mother to her Big 3 [ Husband ] and 2 sons Perren Michael and Tyler Russell. Her boys was her world; she love spending time with them, shopping going out to eat attending every event they was involved with. When Perren was playing sports, Pamela would borrow loose coins from Russell and place in a empty water bottle to make a game noisemaker, and OMG she was very LOUD with it and loving every second of it! Watching her cheering her sons on was PRICELESS, so many proud moments and everyday until ill Pamela would speak Isaiah 54:17 over her husband and sons. Pamela had such an amazing bond with her only granddaughter Melaine that they had their very own sound effects communication and special love for her Daughter -In – Law Jessica who she called Jess!
Her bond and love for her mother, siblings, nieces and nephews was so Loving and powerful that they truly show the meaning of Family Love; her eyes would light up when they would talk or leave her a voice message. Every time after speaking with her mother, she would go that’s my Mom, Russ, with her smiles, when her Sisters Hannah and Dee Dee called she would just smile and love it when they called her Sissy and BANG. Every phone called and voice message she would get from her brother Thomas would have her in tears laughing for Days! And she always enjoyed receiving prayers from her brother Nathan! She showed and had such a special love for all her nieces and nephews that she would give each one a nick name that only Pamela was allowed to said lol .. Pamela had shown the world around her how to Love and Honor your Family.
Pamela was a resident of Bridgeport, CT before relocating to Houston, Texas in 1998. She attended the Bridgeport Public School system and later pursued higher education at Butler Business System in Bridgport, Ct where she graduated in 1984 in Business Management. One of her favorite jobs was as Office Manager at Hearst Corporations – Popular Mechanics, and after several years, she became co-owner of Little Simba Daycares with her friend/sister Linda K. Somerville where she took care of her sons and nieces and nephews as well.
Pamela loved fashion, and she was vey artistic was gifted to draw and paint. Her siblings would take her artworks to school for show and tell. They were so proud of her paintings. Pamela also had an a Amazing passion of controlling the TV remote control. She had a powerful vice grips she wasn’t letting it go even her siblings would yell FIRE and she wasn’t releasing it!
In 1998 when Pamela and family relocated to Houston, Texas she was employed at Revac’s CID Source Net Appraisal Real Estate Company from 1998 until 2014. She truly loved and dedicated her time where the staff became Family.
Pamela's legacy is forever etched into the minds of those who loved her. She was very charismatic, intelligent and her smile was her signature. Pamela was committed and faithful to her God. She served in the Children's Church Ministry at Turner’s Faith Temple for 8 yrs , a proud member of The Voices of TFT Choir, she also served as Co-Pastor with her husband, She founded an Awesome women's ministry called The Bible Tea’s, and she was a counselor at PACN – Pregnancy Assistance Center North in The Woodlands, Texas.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her Husband Russell Wilson, her children Perren (Jessica), and Tyler Russell, one granddaughter Melaine, all of Houston, Texas, her mother Ada Christine Polite of Maryland, two sisters Meredith (Willie) Simpson of Maryland, Hannah ( Michael ) Jones of Dallas Fort Worth, Texas, two brothers Thomas Polite and Nathan (Brenda) Polite of Connecticut, hosts of Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and 4 special Godchildren [Nathan Polite Jr, Michelle Cooper, Meagan Yvette Johnson, and Anita L. Smith]. As well as her mother and brother in law in Connecticut and sister in law in Florida, and large families of The Davis, The Polite, The Swann, The Prince, and The Hayes-Shaw- Wilson with a host of Spiritual families and friends. Pamela is preceded in death by her Father Robert Lee Siler, Father Nelson Polite Sr, Sister Donna Lynn Siler, and Brothers Nelson Polite Jr and Jaime Polite.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Pamela's life will be held on July 24, 2021 in Kingwood, Texas with more information to come.
