Ramona V. Ortega, age 73, of Hempstead TX, passed away July 11, 2019 of lung cancer. She was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
Ramona is preceded in death by father Tiodoro Ortega, brothers Eddie and Edward Ortega, sons Joseph Ortega and Jesus Contreras. She is survived by Son Robert Contreras and wife Melissa, Mother Maria DeJesus Ortega, Sisters Janie Ortega, Lisa Ortega, Joann Ortega, Gloria and Floria Ortega, Brothers Mike Ortega, Randy Ortega, Tiodoro "Junior" Ortega, She is also survived by grandchildren Gabrielle, Jesus Jr., Sarah, Isaiah and Jakob, and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a Memorial Service Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Lighthouse Word Church at 11 am (1247 Donoho St. Hempstead, TX) and Graveside Service at 12pm at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery (24496 Hwy 159E Hempstead, TX).
