Robert Navarro

September 1, 1963 — September 13, 2021

Robert Navarro began his life as a proud Texan born and raised in Houston on September 1, 1963. He was raised along side his siblings Manuel, Irma, Ray, and Roy Navarro by Maria Olga Anderson and Manuel Navarro. He passed peacefully Monday, September 13th, 2021 at the age of 58, at Memorial Herman Katy Hospital surrounded by his wife and children. He fought hard and continued to be brave until the end, his last words were expressing his love for his family.

He graduated from Lamar Senior Highschool and remained in Houston where he went on to marry the love of his life, Yvonne. He raised three children with his wife and worked hard to graduate with her at The University of Phoenix with a Bachelors in Business Administration. Robert had a successful career in Procurement for almost 40 years and ended his legacy at Bilfinger, working with one of his closest friends.

Robert was a teacher of life lessons, a father figure to dozens, a true gentleman who opened doors and stopped on the side of the road to assist a stranger in need.
He was a helping hand for many, always the friend you could count on. Robert was a self proclaimed master of home improvement and knew how to do just about anything from plumbing to electrical to much more. Of the many things he built over the years his proudest was a shed connected to his garage where he put many days of love, sweat and tears. He will be remembered for his kind heart and MacGyver-like mind.

Robert was survived by his soulmate and continuous supporter Yvonne Navarro; Daughter Valerie and Amanda Navarro; Grandson Graham Osborne; Son Fernando Navarro with wife Martha Navarro and their three kids Isaiah, Johnny and Daniel; Great Granddaughter Ozzy; Sister Irma; Brothers Manuel, Ray and Roy Navarro; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Maria Olga Anderson and Manuel B. Navarro. In closing he will forever be the person you would want to call first when you need a helping hand or just a friendly person to talk with. He will never be forgotten and will continuously be celebrated through his family and friends.
