“ Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever .” – Psalm 23:6
On June 1, 2021, Robert E. Price went home to be with his Heavenly Father. He is survived by his wife Mahala; son Will and his wife Sadie; Haley Rolince and her husband Mike; brother Bill; grandchildren Iris, Virginia and Mikey; many cousins, nephews, nieces and brothers and sisters in Christ.
A fourth generation Houstonian, Bob was born on November 12, 1946 to Louis and Doris Price, who preceded him in death. He graduated from Lamar High School in 1965, Washington and Lee University in 1969, and the University of Houston in 1971 (Law). Bob practiced law in the city for over 45 years. Bob was a pillar of strength whose faith in God’s goodness and sovereignty shaped the lives of his family and many others. Bob, his wife and children were founding members of Christ Evangelical Presbyterian Church (CEPC). Bob loved worshipping and serving the Lord alongside this body of believers for nearly 3 decades.
A funeral service celebrating Bob’s life will be held at Christ Evangelical Presbyterian Church (8300 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77024) on Saturday, June 5 at 11am. A reception at the church will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CEPC.
