Roswitha Bowman

Born: March 26, 1958 Passed: August 31, 2018 surrounded by family at her home in Katy, Texas Rose is Survived by her Husband Bret Bowman, Daughter Kimberly Beal, Son Neal Bowman, Daughter Shelley Bowman, her sister Cathy Easton, her stepfather Bill Brown and Three Grandchildren, Brooke Bowman, Quinn Beal, and McKenna Beal. She was Preceded in Death by her Mother Henrietta Brown, Father Jack Rogers and Brother Timothy Rogers. Rose was born in Schweinfurt Germany on March 26, 1958 to Jack and Henrietta Rogers. Her family moved to the USA while she was still an adolescent, settling in the city of Glen Burnie, Maryland. She met her husband Bret Bowman while in high school in Maryland and they were married in Roanoke Virginia on March 06, 1982. Rose was employed in several industries throughout the years which included banking, legal, and medical organizations. She was always up for a new adventure and her husband's career, in the energy industry, provided the opportunity to make several relocations including to the states of Virginia, Kansas, Iowa, Missouri, and ultimately Texas. Rose loved to create things with her hands and enjoyed Pottery, cake decorating, and sewing to name a few. She especially loved everything Crocheted and spent countless hours making everything from Blankets to clothing for friends and family. She loved nature and was blessed with a green thumb. She always found joy walking through the nurseries, during the spring season, looking for different varieties of plants and flowers to grow. She loved to set out bird feeders in the Fall and watch the varieties of birds they would attract. However, Roses favorite past time was face-timing with distant friends and family and especially her children and grandchildren anytime possible. Rose will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her as a person of integrity that always treating others with kindness and respect. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter and friend who always found time for others. I pray Rose has found herself a seat in a beautiful flower garden in the heavens with many visiting songbirds to behold.
