Ruby Earle Marshall, a loving and devoted full time mother, wife, Nana and friend passed away peacefully on October 8, 2018 in Houston, TX. Born on May 7, 1925 in West Columbia, TX to Nellie Humphrey (deceased) and Fred Andrew Ryland (deceased), she graduated from Columbia High School and married her high school sweetheart, Jewell K. Marshall upon his return from World War II. Together they had four children, Cynthia A. Narum (Richard) of Katy, TX, Vicki L.Sanders (deceased), Charles K. Marshall (Mary) of Hockley, TX. and Brenda N. Marshall of Houston, TX. Jewell (JK) passed away suddenly in January of 1978. Ruby Earle remarried in 1981 to Joseph E. Marshall (deceased) and became mother to her special step sons, Joseph C. Marshall (deceased) and William C. Marshall (Cindy) of Montgomery, TX. She is survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she dearly loved, as well as many nieces and nephews. Ruby Earle was a devout Christian who made sure her children were active in the church. She was greatly loved and will be dearly missed. A Memorial service will be held at the Houston National Cemetery, Houston, TX at a date to be determined in the future.
