Terry Ann

Terry Ann Schoellkopf, 65, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2017 at her home in Houston, Texas after a short battle with cancer. She was born on April 17, 1951 in Houston to William H. and Betty John Schoellkopf. Terry grew up in Houston, Texas, a city named for her great-great-great grandfather General Sam Houston. She was deeply proud of her Texas heritage and well versed in the history and traditions of the great state. She had worked for a number of years in private nursing and elder care and was loved and greatly appreciated by those she cared for. Terry is survived by her son John Rushing, his wife Patricia and granddaughter Lauren; her son Kevin Gilson; her brother Larry and nephew Tyler Schoellkopf. Terry was preceded in death by her sister Kathleen, her father Bill and mother Betty, and by her beloved grandparents Bill and Audrey O'Connor. The family will be be holding a private memorial at a later date.
