Terry Wayne Goss was born on June 14, 1946 to Albert H. Goss and Marie Yohe Goss. He was a native Houstonian, a graduate of John H. Reagan High School, and was proud to serve as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps. Terry attended Abilene Christian University and went on to have a successful career in medical management that culminated in his years as the Executive Director of the Durham Clinic. He was a lifelong football fan from the legendary Houston Oilers to holding season tickets for the inaugural season of the Houston Texans. Terry enjoyed being a member of the Cold River Cattle Company Bar-B-Que team for many years at the Houston Rodeo Cook-off. He loved smoking meat and telling stories against a backdrop of music and laughter with friends. Terry passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2020 from esophageal cancer. He lives on through his daughter, Leslie Goss; his beloved granddaughter, Elizabeth Richards; and his many nieces and nephews, friends, and all those who knew and loved him.
A celebration of Terry's life will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2020 from 2-4 PM at The Cadillac Bar (1802 Shepherd Dr., Houston, TX 77007) in the Party Shack. Please come share stories, raise a glass, and join with those whose lives he touched in remembering him.
