Thomas Frederick Burnham passed away in his home on January 28, 2017. He was a devoted father, a loyal brother, and a caring friend to many. He enjoyed traveling, cooking, watching old movies, and reading science fiction novels. He also loved history, classic cars, and photography. Born in Flint, MI to parents Charles and Leona, Tom moved to Houston in 1979. Tom was an excellent handyman and made a living as the onsite maintenance man and manager in the apartment complex where he lived. He was always ready and willing to lend a hand to his neighbors and was well-liked by everyone in the complex. Tom had a keen sense of humor and enjoyed poking fun at current events. He often engaged in lively political discussions with his friends and family members. He was a very social person and enjoyed hanging out with his friends. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Josh Sanchez; his siblings Donny, Denny, Karen, Theresa, Michael and Julie; and his ex-wife Doreen Fillion (mother of Melissa) and her husband Dan Carpenter.
