Daughters: Susan Langerud, Beth Michalec and husband Tommy, Jeanne VanCraenenbroek and husband Pascal. Grandfather to 17, and Great-grandfather to 12. > > Thomas was known for his quiet demeanor, but anyone who was fortunate enough to meet him and know him would undoubtedly feel like they had just made a friend. He never said too much, but when he did there was a sense of power and wisdom that was profound. Children especially were drawn to him, as his broad shoulders and soothing voice provided security and comfort. One of the most generous souls around, if you had any kind of problem he would do anything he could to help, whether giving money or his true gift - being a wonderful listener. He was a devout Catholic whose unwavering and unshakable faith in Jesus Christ provided him the strength and solace of knowing that no matter what difficulty or problem there was, with God all things are possible. > > A memorial mass will be held at a later date.
