Tina Denise Terry

Tina Denise Terry, aged 67, passed away on January 29, 2025, in Houston, TX. Born on November 17, 1957, Tina devoted her life to caring for others, a passion she embodied in her long-standing career as a Neonatal ICU nurse at Memorial Hermann Greater Heights, formerly Northwest Memorial Hospital. Tina attended Scarsbourough High School, and was a proud alumna of Houston Baptist University. Her spiritual life was nurtured at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, where she found fellowship and community. Tina was known for her sarcasm, wit, loyalty, and fierce independence. She touched many lives with her caring nature and artistic talents, especially needlepointing where her attention to detail was channeled into masterpieces she often gave as gifts or were showcased in her home. Tina was an avid reader, loved jigsaw puzzles, labeling anything and everything, and mastered the art of organization. Tina also enjoyed simple pleasures, like visiting Costco where she shopped as big as she lived. She had a lifelong love for the animal kingdom represented in her history of pet ownership starting with turtles, bunnies, and birds to domestic pets. Her girls, Gracie Rose (a prissy schnauzer) and Sandy Sue (a spicy chihuahua), were by her side making sure she had an endless amount love and snuggles while proudly filling their role as tiny security officers insuring she would never have unannounced guests. She is survived by numerous friends, family, and preceded in death by her parents, Robert Wyatt Terry, Jr. and Elouise E. Terry. Services to honor Tina's life will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1101 Antoine, Houston, TX 77055, on February 26, 2025 at 10:30 am where she will be laid to rest next to her beloved parents.
