Vicky Litwiller Bowlby, 75, of Houston, TX passed away on November 23, 2017. She was born in her beloved Michigan to Pauline & Victor Litwiller. She had many hobbies and past times, but enjoyed gardening, fishing, and reading Gods word the most. There wasn't a plant that she couldn't make grow or a flower she couldn't make bloom so beautifully! She loved being out on the water fishing, and loved talking about fishing with her grandson when she couldn't fish anymore. The Bible and Gods word gave her strength and hope throughout her daily life on earth. There was nothing she would not do for her family. "She was small but mighty", a force to be reckoned with. She told her grandson just a week before her death "The Whole world fell apart this past week, so I guess we will just have to bring it back together. That was her attitude about life, deal with whatever happens and make the best of it. 12 years ago in 2005 she was told she had 6 months to live, and we were blessed to have been given an additional 12 years with her. That just goes to show how strong she was. She was preceded in death by her parents & 1 sister Susie Litwiller. She is survived by 2 daughters, Jenny and husband Mike Kellner of Uvalde & Julie Hollas of Houston. 4 grandchildren Nicholas, Hughie, Terry, Mason & 2 honorary grandchildren Skyler & Nick C.. She is also survived by 3 brothers & 2 sisters, Charlie and wife Ellen Litwiller, Howard Litwiller, Steve and wife Sally Litwiller, Joyce Lehner, Dindy and husband Ken Wesenberg. A celebration of life get together will be held January 6th in Houston, Texas at 5515 Nina Lee. Friends and family are welcome to come and bring photos and stories to celebrate the life of this wonderful, mom, grandmother, sister and friend to many.
