William Spivey

November 26, 1930 — December 9, 2015

William Laird Spivey went to join the Lord on December 9, 2015. He joins his wife Edythe, and eldest son William in paradise. He is survived by his children Sheila Deason, Jimmy Spivey and wife Nancy, and Tonya Spivey, grandchildren Kyle Deason, Michael Deason, Elizabeth Zedjlik, Rebekah Copeland, and Catherine Spivey . He was born on November 26, 1930. He served in the Marines during the Korean War, worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for 35 years, in many positions, including being on the team that tested new underground telephone lines for the greater Houston area. Bill ,as he was known by, was an active member of Mims Baptist Church in Conroe, Texas.
