Willie Knight,

Willie Charles Knight Sr., devoted father, husband, son, brother, uncle, grandfather, great grandfather, faithful friend passed away after a brief illness.

Willie Sr. was born in Laurel, Mississippi to Viry and Retha Knight. He attended the Brookhaven schools system and graduated from Alexander High School. Willie transplanted to Houston, TX and was a longtime employee of Stran Steel and Big H auto. His hobbies were singing in a gospel group, playing whist, watching westerns.

Willie Sr. is preceded in death by his parents, Brothers Nathaniel, Beau, Otis, Fred, Arthur, Sister Irma, and son Charles Ray.

He leaves to cherish him in memory wife Mary Jane Knight, Sister Inez Williams, Brother Henry Knight; daughters Deborah Fells (Ronald), Toyce McGowan (Willie), Donna Knight, Princilla Knight, Tiefany Knight (Albert), Patricia Jones, Cynthia King, Sheila Jackson; sons Willie Knight Jr., Jimmy Mapp, Kirk Mapp. Grandchildren: La Tara Fells, Ronald De-Shaun Fells Jr., KeTara Armstrong (Keith), Ke-Ahna Slater (Dre), Faith Hunter, Genesis Hunter, Andrew Jones, David Jones Jr... Great Grandchildren: Treyson Fells, Malaki Elliot, Jeremiah Slater, Jaleah Armstrong, Jaycee Armstrong, Don'dre Cartwright, Dre'don Cartwright, Emma Jones.
